Our goal is simple: to help individuals stay connected to recovery while supporting treatment centers in strengthening long-term outcomes and community impact.

Meet the Founder

Sacred Alumni Services was founded by Heron Hanson, a recovery professional with both lived experience and hands-on expertise in alumni programming, client support, and experiential recovery.

As a person in long-term recovery himself, Heron brings a deep, personal understanding of the challenges individuals face after leaving treatment—along with a strong belief in the importance of continued connection, community, and purpose.

In addition to his lived experience, Heron has professional experience in:

  • alumni program development and management

  • client support and case coordination

  • group facilitation and recovery programming

  • experiential and community-based recovery initiatives

This combination of personal recovery experience and professional background allows Sacred Alumni Services to bridge the gap between clinical care and real-world recovery.

Heron’s work is rooted in the belief that recovery is not just about completing treatment, but about building a meaningful, connected life beyond it.
